This beautiful soul made some buzz among the social media like facebook some time back. It’s because she shaved off her waist length hair and donated it for a good cause. She is no one other than our cute girl Twinkle “Luthufunnissa” hailing from Chennai.
As everyone want to know her experience in doing that, our team approached her. She is a beauty at heart too. She responded in a very pleasant manner and here we present her experience in her own words.
“I’m Luthufunnissa, completed my BCA final year hailing from Chennai. From long time, I had this thought of donating my hair for Chemo Patients. I am having hair length of 21 inches reaching my waist. Actually, it’s my birthday wish to do that. Though I can’t did that at the time of my birthday, I fulfilled my wish in last December.
Many people are asking me from where did I get inspired. Actually no one inspired me, it’s just my wish that I wanna do. I didn’t take time for taking this decision but it took time for me to convince my parents. Initially, I tried cnvincing my parents saying that I got dandruff and I wanna get shaved. They were shocked by this silly reason. From then on, I tried convincing them by saying many lies but at last I thought why shouldn’t I say the truth and convince them. Immediately I went to my Dad and explained my thought of donating my hair. He felt really happy and to my surprise he mentioned that ‘I’ll look cute in the bald look’. I felt to happy on their decision. So the mission “BALD” started.
I thought of doing that in a parlor but it was so costly there. They are charging 250 rupees for the shave. So I tried checking in a Men Saloon and they asked me 50rupees. I thought why to waste money by shaving my head in a Parlor. I went to the barbershop along with my Mom and asked him to make me Bald. He got shocked and he tried to convince me not to go bald. He said this and that for almost 20mins and I felt like I convinced him more than my parents. Barber tied my hair both the sides and he shaved off my long hair. I felt very excited for seeing myself in a new avatar.
My friends are always by my side and supported me a lot. Though my parents are lil worried about my hair but they also felt so happy to see me doing such a good deed.
Best compliment I have got is – I have broad minded to loose such beautiful hair and also I have lot of guts in doing that.
“If you really want to help people who’s suffering, just go and do something on your part. It may not be a hair donation, it may be like sharing of food, clothes or money, love, happiness to the people who are expecting that. Spread Love – At the time of Death Bed, we won’t carry any of the luxuries with us. Nothing can replace the happiness you got from helping Others”.
