Q – Small intro about you and how this thought struck your mind???
“Hi everyone. I’m Janani having Masters in Social Work and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I always had this thought of going for a buzz cut in mind from a very long time. I have always wanted to touch my scalp and also run my hand over my head when I had ‘No Hair’. So finally one day I decided to do that and only one word that came to my mind is “NOW or NEVER”. So I didn’t take a back step and went with my gut!!!
Q – Any Specific Reason to get the haircut from your friends rather than getting in a parlor??
A – Actually, I felt a bit of moral support if my friends do that rather than getting alone in a parlor from an unknown person. They are the best and without any hesitation they did what I had in mind from very long time.
Q – Parents and Friends Reaction???
A – I always have very supportive friends. Everyone said that I inspired them to do something without any hesitation and also without thinking about how others will perceive them. Coming to Parents, they are always supportive and also they complimented me saying “You look SUPER COOL”.
Q – One final question. How do you feel when you are actually rubbing your scalp?
A – With a heart full laugh – this is what I am waiting for. It’s so good and a different experience which everyone has to experience once in their life time.
